With over thirty years of experience in nursing ranging from Hospital & Critical Care to Private Practice Pediatrics, Dermatology, and Plastic Surgery, Licensed Nurse & DiVersions Wellness & Med Spa owner Diane Sanchez, LPN brings to her patients the benefits of intense and active training in Aesthetic Dermal Arts and Sciences. Diane earned her certification in Therapeutic Massage in 1981 while completing her nursing degree in 1983. Her massage background prepared her for the requisite soothing skills that all best trained Aesthetic Injection Nurses and Physicians should develop. Her experience working with medical patients, and especially with medically fragile children, fortified her profound empathy and focused her attention on developing pain control techniques while managing patient treatment options and outcomes.
Diane’s first professional interest was in fashion and costume design. It was in this environment that Diane was able to observe women whose careers rested on their ability to manipulate how age, time, and habits altered the look of their skin, facial structure, and expression. After turning her attention to a Nursing Career, Diane naturally followed an attraction to the fashion design of the skin, face, and expression. With over a decade of this experience behind her, Diane discovers her talent in Specialized Aesthetic Medicine continues to blossom.
Since 2002, Diane has gained extensive advanced training and experience working with dermal fillers and neurotoxins injecting Botox®, Dysport,® Restylane-L®, Perlane-L®, Juvederm-XC®, Radiesse and Belotero®. While employed for an aesthetically trained plastic surgeon, she also acquired advanced skills in facial aesthetics. Diane is trained in proprietary patented, advanced, and routine injection techniques. Her skills provide natural looking reliable results with extremely caring and successful pain management.
With untiring commitment and active interest, Diane continues to attend advanced training seminars and conferences believing that skills are improved when receptive to new trends specific to her practice. Diane has worked independently and under contract with Medicis Aesthetics and Allergan, (makers and suppliers of such products as Botox®, Dysport®, Restylane-L®, Perlane L®, Radiesse®, Belotero and Juvederm-XC®) providing advanced injection training to both physicians and nurses throughout the New Mexico community and nationally. Diane specializes in patient specific natural looking results and full correction for maximum benefits with minimal down time. Her loyal patient clientele is a testament to her skills. In her free time Diane continues to hone her artistic talents and many skills by drawing, painting, and clay sculpting the face.
