Barbara received her undergraduate degree from the University Of New Mexico College Of Nursing and went on to achieve a Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Creighton University in Omaha, NE where she graduated in 2007 with emphasis in family and community health. In 2010, she relocated to New Mexico with her family to be closer to her extended family. She has a full time practice at Sandoval Regional Medical Center in the Gynecology and Urology Surgical Specialty Clinics.
Barbara is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health, New Mexico Nurse Practitioner’s Council, Sigma Theta Tau, Nebraska Nurse Practitioners, Age Management Medicine Group, International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health , International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses and the National Association of Professional Women.
In her free time, Barbara enjoys spending time with her family, has a love for a variety of art styles and enjoys traveling.
